Do you come to me?
Yes. Byland Industries is an independent mechanic with mobile service. I come to your home, farm, or jobsite across Chisago County and the Princeton area, so there's no tow bill and no waiting in a shop queue. Bigger jobs can be dropped off at my shop.
What areas do you serve?
Almelund, North Branch, Center City, Lindstrom, Chisago City, Taylors Falls, Rush City, Harris, Stacy, Wyoming, Forest Lake, Princeton, Zimmerman, Milaca, Cambridge, and about 15 miles around Princeton. I travel further for larger jobs.
How much does it cost?
Labor is $95 an hour plus a $35 trip charge per visit. You get a price before any work starts, and itemized invoices are emailed through QuickBooks.
What repairs can you do on-site?
Most repairs that don't need a lift: brakes, batteries, starters, alternators, no-starts, check engine lights, electrical problems, cooling systems, radiators, belts, suspension parts, and maintenance. Jobs that need a lift go to a shop, and you'll be told that up front.
Do you work on business and fleet vehicles?
Yes. I service trucks, vans, and equipment for dealers, contractors, landscapers, snow plow operators, and rental yards, on-site at your lot or yard.
Do you do welding?
Light welding repairs, like cracked trailer tongues, hitches, and brackets. Ask when you call.
